The Mogol Hotel is situated in the charming and picturesque village of Changspa, only 15 minutes drive from the Airport and 10 minutes walk from Leh Town. It is believed that a couple of centuries ago the armies of the Moghol Dynasty from India had camped on this very land and hence it accquires its name "Mogol". The hotel is owned and managed by the Kalon family (a Ladakhi family) who also reside

on the same premises as the hotel so as a guest you can be assured that Mogol will be your home away from home.
