Kweto meaning 'our home' in Swahili language.Our property is situated on the outskirts of Madikeri town around 2.0 kms from the central bus station towards the road leading to Club Mahindra and Taj Vivantha in a peaceful and serene environment.Surrounded by greenery and a wide road with ample amount of parking space and a garden around the house with a small farm.We have a outdoor Bonfire and barbecue area inside the property.Not much of hustle and bustle of the town all you can hear is the chirping of birds around the property.The name defines our home and our guest.Kweto a ocean of travel tales.

'Kweto a home stay' Kweto meaning our home in Swahili language.You feel it as a home with the ambiance in and around the property.The house is a three bedroom complete with spacious beds,linens,blankets and toiletries,kitchen attached for self cooking and cleaning with all amenities including a gas stove,refrigerator and utensils,a living hall with TV and working table,sit out area,two restrooms with hot water facility,laundry washing and a outdoor space with garden and a small farm around.Property is CCTV monitored with complete safety and protocols followed strictly.
A big playground at a stone throw distance,wide road and view to admire.Our complimentary breakfast with all packages,add on lunch and dinner is completely homemade under strict hygienic conditions from the home kitchen.The property is always sanitized and maintained in hygienic conditions.We the host family stay in the same premises and we belong to Coorg and are around here for the last 40 years.Travelling to local tourist locations is easy as it is centrally located in the district and 2.5 km from the central bus station bus station.Hosting guest for us has always been great pleasure at our place.

Bookings are available for couples,friends groups,corporate teams,family crowd,girls team,biking teams etc.We have a travel desk at the property and assistance in planning trip,schedule and car rental provided.
Booking slots are available in 1,2,4,6,10 persons at different tariff rates including complimentary breakfast. Entire home is allotted for the confirmed guests.No other guests are shared in the premises during your stay.

We at Kweto a homestay hosted our guests Mrs. Brendalee and Jean from Canada. We had the quietest guest moments spent with them. Peace and calm. The interaction was beautiful regarding our local culture and language and traditions. Anoop had the chance of learning some photography skills from Brenda. A nice estate walk at Madikeri gold estates and a historical tour at Mercara town was the delight for the guest.

The ornaments of your home are the people who smile upon entering time and time again.
Heartfelt thanks to Ms.Pranathi Vatal and friends from Infosys,Mysore for being our guests at Kweto a Home stay.We had a awesome time spent with the guest at the bonfire and a vegetarian dinner to top it up with a desert.Mankind is divisible into two great classes: hosts and guests.

Every person is created in the image of God and has value. Every person. Every person is to be treated with respect. Every person is also a citizen of some country. In their country, they have rights and responsibilities; in every other country, they are a guest.
The ornaments of OUR KWETO house will be the guests who frequent it.
We had Mithalde and friends from France,Africos(Ivory Coast) and Mumbai.The guests were to India on a yoga learning session.We host had a great time with the guests at the bonfire,barbecue,outdoor dinner by the courtyard and top it up with a outdoor breakfast by the garden side.A trip to Mandhalpatti and Mukkodlu falls early morning.The complete property was surrounded by the guests all time.It was a pleasure hosting them with all vegeterian food of local cucine.

SHIVARANJINI AND FRIENDS from Chennai.
Do you know what you call those who use towels and never wash them, eat meals and never do the dishes, sit in rooms they never clean, and are entertained till they drop? If you have just answered, kids'you're wrong because I have just described A house guest,' A beautiful evening spent with the guests jiving to some tamil romantic songs,barbecue and bonfire.Thanks to the guests for making the time spent memorable.
