If you want to get of the tourist track then venture to the interior .see the temples on the way to Pala farm ,the Goan country side ,take a hike around the area ,so beautiful in the monsoon season , rushing water falls and streams. There are so many festivals in Goa ,as the community shares various religions .Coming up in November is Diwali festival of light,such a colourful celebration over many days . Art and music play a big part in the social gatherings .Constant exhibitions and concerts for all tastes ,so much talent. The monsoons end in October ,but monsoon season is not wothout it's beauty.In June the rains begin ,the fields are ploughed by oxen and in July the paddy is planted .The beauty of the new green !
