Save Tabakoshi Tourism... We, the people of Tabakoshi and Pokhriab**g Rangbhang Valley, are facing numerous challenges due to the deplorable condition of road connectivity in Tabakoshi. The road connecting Pokhriab**g, via Tabakoshi to Mirik, is the lifeline of the entire area and crucial for Tabakoshi Tourism. However, despite the passage of three months since the disaster, restoration work has not commenced in Tabakoshi. Can the authorities restore Tabakoshi before the rainy season, and who will be responsible for the inconvenience caused to students, the public, and tourists? It is disheartening to note that the concerned departments and the governing body of Darjeeling are neglecting Tabakoshi. During the disaster visit, the MP, MLA, DM, BDO, and Chief of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration had assured that Tabakoshi would be restored within a month, but work has not begun yet.
