Wishing everyone a very Happy Ram Navami!!

We do the Ram Navami pooja every year - a Tradition followed by my father in law and his father, before him. I like such traditions. I feel like Lord Ram and my father in law and Grand father in law bestow their blessings on us to keep this going.

So, this post is about an ad that was shot at our hotel for JSW Paints. The ad features Alia Bhatt and though she wasn't in the hotel, snippets of the ad were shot at our place - a balcony shot and one at the reception area.

What got me super excited however, was - that in one of the shots that features our reception area and our wall of fame, pics of my awesome late father in law (A.K. Hebbar) and his dad (K.S.N Hebbar) both are prominently featured in it and that just brought a huge smile to my face.

So last sunday, the 10th of April, was Ram Navami. This tradition of doing pooje for Ram Navami has been going on for decades. Perhaps right from the beginning. In fact, this is the big one for us. My father in law's father, K.S.N Hebbar started this tradition and it continues till date. There is a small aarati followed by prasada which again is always chick pea sundal and mysore pak. (Yum)! I am so glad, some things don't change. Gratitude!!!! Missed you mava!
