f Mumbai… its famous dabbawallas (lunchbox carriers); Chor bazar (Thieves’ Market); Bollywood; the museum; the Queen’s Necklace; Arthur Road Prison… One room even pays tribute to a notorious underworld don of yesteryear who would frequently stop by to visit one of the hotel’s long-time resident guests. In the recent makeover of Hotel Kemps Corner which was fitted with modern en-suite facilities, the young architect who orchestrated the facelift also ensured that it evoked nostalgia for Mumbai of the 1970s when the hotel welcomed its first guests.

Anuj Prabhu is a powerhouse of marathi cinema, television, and theatre, known for being a true chameleon on screen. Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, he has consistently captivated audiences across platforms. From his unforgettable portrayal of political figure Raj Thackeray in the 2022 hit Dharmaveer: Mukkam Post Thane, to his recent globally acclaimed performance as Sahebrao/Murali in the 2025 film Gondhal—which swept awards at prestigious international film festivals—Anuj continues to redefine excellence.

Our team had the absolute pleasure of hosting him, ensuring his stay was filled with warm hospitality, comfort, and memorable moments.
