Class of 2020, under these unusually weird and horrible circumstances, you made it! You have persevered through with great highs and some lows, but with grit and determination. Don't let this moment in time define your college career, but rather strengthen who you are for what you have been through. The world is changing, and there is no better satisfaction for us than to know there is a dedicated, wonderful group of IITB 2020 graduates going out in this world to be great people who can make a difference!

Hostel 6 council presents "Vikings Fundae Session"
We are proud to announce that speakers for this session are Mr. Siddhant Jadhav ( Analyst in Goldman Sachs and did intern in Samsung)
Mr. Rahul Chanduka (Quant trader, Fintech enthusiast, did intern in WorldQuant and Auquan)

We will have a series of two sessions for our whole hostel students. The first session will target mainly Sophie's and Thirdies and this session will cover fundaes related to internships.
Timings for the first session are 4PM-4:45PM

The second session will begin after the end of the first session and this session will be for our fourth-year students and will cover fundaes related to placements.

Our Hostel alumnus Shubham Kumar secured an AIR of 290 in UPSC 2019 exams. He served the hostel also as Social Secretary and Cultural Nominee. Also, in his tenure, Hostel 6 got its first Cultural Cup.

We congratulate him on the behalf of all Hostel students and wish him a great future.

*URGENT: Hostel 6 Alumni*

Our housekeeping PHO workers and Contractual Gardeners will be getting only 15 days of employment and thus only 15 days of salary in a month due to Institute Administration not paying the PHO contractor for hostel rooms cleaning as hostel rooms are closed. The Insti Admin has been contacted by a group of concerned professors regarding this. But the decision may take time and I'm afraid that would be too late for the workers who have to sustain their families through these tough times.

We students are trying our best with donating as we can, but we would also really appreciate if our alumni can also make their contribution towards donation for the contractual workers working in Hostel 6, IIT Bombay.
As they don't have the active account in the Hostel, they need to transfer the money into the Hostel's bank account through NEFT or IMPS.
