Friends of discovergoa365, the state government of Goa has announced that the curfew in the state will be extended to july 26th.
IN THE LAST 24HOURS there were 2 death reported and more than 100 cases reported...please avoid Goa and travel to goa only with the RT pcr report. AND always check with the authorities at the airport if there is any change in the rules for flyiers and also please check the rules within your state , when you have to come back...better be prepared then be sorry. Its better to avoid Goa till mid August and then take a call.

Rt pcr test is compulsory if you want to enter Goa...it should not be more than 72 hours....the best time to visit goa will be in August....as we see it.

Many of us have heard about The iconic club Tito's, located at Baga beach in North , The club which was synonymous with nightlife in the tourist state was reportedly sold due to harassment by government officials, politicians and police.

A day after Richardo Joseph D'Souza, whose family owns the club, posted on social media the sale of its entire business line in goa...there was a dismay among patrons, fans and tourists...even the local shops who use to depend on the popularity of the club were disappointed and will be effected.

D'Souza claimed he was "harassed" by officials from the police department, the and Development Authority, the Regulation Zone, NGOs, and sarpanches, Block Development Officers, Deputy Collectors and others.

“I will also share some proceeds from the sale with our staff but in the long term, they have no jobs. Can I please ask our officials to employ them as I do not ever plan any more business in Goa,” he wrote.

We only hope that the new owners continue the legacy of 'S only time will tell.

Just an update that Goa has extended the Curfew till the end of June. There will be gradual re opening in some places. Hospitality sector will be open atleast with 50% of staff. Its better to plan in advance for August. THE TRAVEL AND TOURISM ASSOCIATION OF GOA (TTAG) HAS recommended to the Chief minister to start an aggressive campaign through all channels of communication to undo the negative publicity it has received from last 2 months. The government is also keen on restarting tourism as and when the positivity falls down below 5%. The government along with its strict SOP's in place is sure that it will manage to bring down the positivity rate to below 5% in the 1st week of july. The TTAG recommends that the hospitality industry , casino to be open atleast 50% capacity by july and clearly mention it on their communication channel...The police needs to be more vigilant and the government should open up slowly the economy and avoid mass gatherings by curtailing festivities, sunburn festivals, carnivals and any major religious celebrations atleast for a year...
So lets hope Goa recovers and good days shall come again soon. Visit us
