Basti - A Backpackers Hostel We're located in a really posh locality of Mumbai. It is a very calm and serene neighborhood, away from the loud traffic yet well connected with the whole city.

Basti is a brainchild of three travel enthusiasts who are already running a few other hostels around India. Basti - Literally translates to "A rural community", Where we attempt to create a perfect blend of rural and urban settings. While also maintaining utmost comfort, cleanliness and a backpacker-friendly atmosphere, We intend to give you an essence of the rural side of India, ironically in the

most urban city of India. We are located in one of the most Posh localities of Mumbai - Santacruz West. The area is really calm, serene and green. We are surrounded by the best nightlife restaurants and bars of Mumbai. Santacruz and Khar Railway stations are within 900m while the Airport terminals 1 and 2 are 3.5 and 6.6 km respectively. Popular seaside Promenades like Juhu Beach, Carter Road, Bandstand are all also at a stone-throw distance.
