Into the sands of time our footprints will remain!

Today, we missed Ashwin B Waghmare 's presence, his smiles, his songs, his philosophy of life. It is hard to accept the truth that he is not with us but he will always be in our prayers, memories and Sandy Spirits.

We conducted a virtual meeting with AVC coordinator Biraj Ma'am, Proff. Pinki Ma'am, Dr. Sam Skariah and Sandies from various states of the country and various nations to come together to remember Ashwin and his contribution to our lives.

We recorded this meeting for those of us who could not make it today for the meeting but wished to.

We thank Ashwin for connecting us together at such a difficult time. This is a strength no one could have.

Thank you Ashwin for all the meaningful conversations, melodies, your words of wisdom and your philosophy. You have given more than anyone could ask for.

Dear Sandies,
It is unfortunate to inform you that one of our Sandies, Ashwin Waghmare has passed away due to severe infection in intestine. He had been suffering through this problem for a year but on the 2nd May, Ashwin stopped the battle.

He was not only an amazing scholar but also was a great singer, witty comic and a humble hearted gem of St. Andrews house. We will always remember his songs, stories and smiles.
He was one of the active students of Andrew's Vision Centre and participated in all the activities too.

We have planned a condolence meeting in memory of Ashwin. We invite you today to join us virtually on a Zoom call for prayers and hostel song.

Here is the link for conference call tonight at 8pm. This call is for condolence meeting remembering Ashwin and his contribution. The call is planned for 30 minutes and may not take longer. Please join the video call tonight. It will be nice to see you all.

Our dearly Dr. Sam Skariah visited Wilson College today for his brainchild Andrew's Vision Centre (AVC)'s program. Our former student Payal has been appointed as an associate professor for Dept of History. Our best wishes for her success and achievement.
