At the outset I'm happy to inform you that till today NONE of our units or staff across The VITSKamats Group has reported being infected. We would like to keep it this way.
As you know these are very unique times. With a lot of new factors. While we me and the team as The VITSKamats Group have survived and overcome many different disasters and problems.
Right from SARS to Sept 11 to Mumbai terror attacks and so many other problems our industry faced and continues to face.
But each new challenge is different. And needs to be overcome. This times lock down and restriction on movement puts pressure as contamination speed creates health and safety issues for staff and team and fear of it prevents guests from visiting the unit. Putting pressure on revenues. While our meter on costs is constantly on..
We are in active discussion with government to raise larger issues of support for industry.
But at your unit level we are all constantly in touch with the team and implementing the following
Ensuring safety of staff by taking preventative measures
Reducing risk of contamination and cross exposure by limiting number of staff in the premises
Reducing the menus /items available for in house guests to stretch available food and non food items
Restricting the number of floors operating to reduce the service provided zones
Reduction of entry and exit points
Complete review of contracts and agencies and expenses to identify which can reviewed , deferred or reduced immediately
Where section 144 imposed like in Maharashtra and other states a d areas providing guidelines and inputs
And many more steps based on your individual unit and situation
