Canon just built a camera with no viewfinder. On purpose.
Meet the EOS R6 V — Canon's first full-frame body designed video-first, from the ground up. Same 32.5MP sensor family as the R6 Mark III, but reworked for people who shoot more than they compose through a window.
7K RAW. 7K Open Gate. A built-in cooling fan rated for roughly 3x longer recording before it throttles. Up to 8.0 stops of combined stabilization for handheld and gimbal work. A vertical tripod mount and vertical UI for creators shooting social-first. No EVF, no mechanical shutter — this one's built to shoot, not to look through.
The trade-offs are real too: you're composing on the screen, always. The sensor's non-stacked, so fast pans can show rolling shutter. And at ₹2,35,995 body-only (₹3,55,995 with the new RF 20-50mm power zoom kit lens), it's a serious investment.
It's not on the MatchMyLens shelf yet. But if enough of you want to shoot with it, that changes fast.
Comment "YES" if you'd rent the R6 V — or tell us what you'd shoot with it.
