These posts usually start by saying "with a heavy heart". Yes, our heart is heavy but not because it carries sadness.

Our heart is filled with 1000 memories of countless card games, never ending party nights, yummy food trails, fun jam sessions and enchanting magic evenings. It's filled with laughter, good conversations, lasting friendships and a simple moment of an exchanged smile, knowing that we came to HOP for the same reason. To connect. To appreciate and gain from our differences. To learn and to feel understood. To find our tribe and to cherish this experience forever. To feel at home!

Our heart is heavy because you, our dear hopsters, occupy every inch of it. So, while we have to announce that our hostel in Mumbai has shut down for the time being, please know, that we keep the memories of the last four years in our heavy but happy heart and carry it with us wherever we go.

Thanks to everyone who blessed us with their stay, their energy and all the positives vibes we received with happiness. We'll miss you! Don't forget the hopster in you and carry it with you wherever you travel to!

The day we opened Horn Ok Please, we stood in these empty halls and imagined people from all over the world filling every corner with laughter, stories and good vibes. Never would we have expected to see this space entirely empty again. These are tough times and there seems no light at the end of the tunnel.

But if you are reading this, it is likely that you have experienced HOP before. A warm smile of the receptionist upon entry, a comfortable bed in a unique set-up, a hot shower after a day of sightseeing, an easy path into an enriching interaction with a stranger, a fun night-out with our founders and staff, making friends for a life time & of course the sad feeling when you have to check out. It’s this memory that connects us all and this unique unspoken bond that keeps us hopeful. While our current experiences certainly vary in severity, we'd like to remind you that we are in this together and we don’t want you to feel as empty as these halls.

Please comment & tag a friend you made at HOP and share a happy memory with us. It’ll brighten someone’s day and would definitely lift our mood.

For now, HOP Mumbai remains open and we follow all precautions necessary to keep our guests & staff safe. What an honour to host the female cricket team of Jammu & Kashmir. The 14 girls strong team is in town for a function and is heading for the finals of a friendly tournament in Pune this weekend. HOP wishes good luck!

Eventhough this view in itself should be reason enough to this winter in Jaipur, it is the 1000 of kites you can't make out in the pic that will definitely leave you in awe if you join us on 13th & 14th of January for Makar Sankranti.
