Wildflower Cottage.
This charming and cozy cottage lies hidden in one of the mountains surrounding the Mussoorie hills.
The cottage is a 3 bedroom property, each bedroom with an attached washroom. The upper two bedrooms have balconies for guests to enjoy the magnificent views. The lower floor consists of the third bedroom, an open kitchen, and a living and dining space. There is a cook/ caretaker to look after our guests, wifi and power backup.
Wildflower Cottage sits in a small pretty little garden.
This quaint property boasts of some of the most beautiful valley views that one can witness. Since this is south facing, one can get to see the sunrise and spectacular sunsets. And through the day, it basks in the warmth of the sun.
The Mall Road in Mussoorie is a short 8km away and takes about 20 minutes to reach. Dehradun is 45 minutes away.
There are numerous small treks all around in the forests that surround Wildflower. One can discover hidden streams and waterfalls in these forests.
Not very far away are some of the attractions that beckon.
Haathi Paon, is a nearby mountain where there are meadows, alpine forests, small dhabas offering delicious hot stuffed parathas and chai, and views of the snow clad Himalayas in the distance. The famous George Everest House, which is a major tourist attraction, sits on top of the hill at Haathi Paon. George Everest was the person who mapped the Himalayan range, and discovered Mount Everest.
There are many other places to visit as well, such as Company Gardens, Landour and its bakeries, Kempty Falls, the hill towns of Dhanaulti and Kanatal. All of which are an hour's drive away.
Wildflower Cottage enjoys a couple of snow falls in the winter.
And, after a day of visiting the sights and strolling along Mall Road, one can sit back and relax around a bonfire in the garden, while a million stars glitter above in the midnight skies.
