From NADAUN over the JALORI PASS TO KULLU. The rough track over the jalori pass was oncethe primari route that linked NADAUN to the Kullu valley and the still unknown tract of Manali. through trick forests, over rickety bridghes and boulder strewn valleys would come the tall conicalbaskets packed with the somewhat sour varieties of apple that had been planted in kullu by caption lee in the middle of the nineteenth century . who loved these hills and died while on a trek in 1986. past this and higher still,the hillside has been dramatically slashed by a cloudburst that brought boulders the size of lorries down the hill and sent the road all askew .then the road takes a couple of truns and you r at the 3134 metres high jalori pass . the drive to kullu over the jalori pass offers many enchanting views..............
