Dhura is a small village of four houses surrounded by a dense pine forest. It settled at 1km apart from the Nainital-Ramnagar high way, 16kms distant from Nainital. It has been one of the bird watching destinations since British period. Hanumangarh, Observatory, Camel’s Back and planes can be seen from here, facing towards East. Dhura is a cliff and at a point from where climate of hill and planes

meet. The pine forest is in the North and evergreen forest of warm climate towards South. The River Nahal flowing at a distance but the river sound can be heard from here.
