Once a year, the village of Pilrene comes alive in flowers, flags, music and colour for Matiechem Fest : the Festival of the Soil. What started as a few unexpected visitors, have now become family. Today, our rescued dogs (and the resident cats, who definitely believe they own the place) are as much a part of Seven Doors House as the old walls, lush gardens, and slow mornings.
They’re loved, they’re safe, and they’re free to wander the home they’ve claimed as their own.
So here’s a little heads-up before you book: if muddy paws, wagging tails, curious cats, and the occasional furry welcome committee aren’t your thing, Seven Doors House probably isn’t for you.
But if your heart lights up at the sight of animals living happily alongside people, we think you’ll fit right in.
