It has been restored lovingly over a period of three years maintaining the authenticity of the architectural style and method of construction that was prevalent when this house was built. *Madhavan Palanisamy* (Maddy) is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in Chennai, working with images, text and drawings. His work explores the space between the real and the surreal. For some time now, he has been trying to trade his horse for a unicorn.
