WELCOME TO inn pondiville

Inn Pondiville is part of a 6 acre farm that is tucked away in the jungle between the quaint old town of Pondicherry (now known as Puducherry) and the vibrant future city – Auroville. This forest retreat is literally carved into the Green Belt of Abri Forest, a couple of kilometres from the Matri Mandir, the beach and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram of Puducherry.

Puducherry, the capital of French Colonial rule, still retains the unique blend of French and Tamil culture. This reflects in Puducherry’s architecture, food and culture.

Pichavaram Mangrove Forest near Chidambaram, the world's second largest mangrove forest is just a 2 hour drive (70 Kms.).

To the spiritually and culturally inclined, Chidambaram’s famous Nataraja Temple is also a 2 hour drive (70 Kms).
