Our 98th review on TripAdvisor....brought tears to my eyes. When our guests praise us so highly, it makes us feel so grateful and more eager to keep up the good work. Thanks for all the love!

The funniest part of our travel plan always is, we start finding best available resort within budget to stay, relax, unwind ourselves rather than searching for tourist attraction. But this time by sheer God grace we gave a thought to check b&b segment of trip advisor & could nt resist ourselves to think of checked in chaukhat. So booked 3 days at chaukhat & for rest of the 5 days we booked 3 dif resorts at dif places at Andaman. After checked in & gathering 3 days experience in chaukhat all I can say forget choosing travel agent, forget choosing hotels, resorts, restau at port blair, just book chaukhat & forget thinking abt anything as everything ll fall into its place!!!!! WHY?
Inform abt ur arrival at Port Blair, u ll b escorted to chaukhat from Airport.
A warm welcome ll b awaited as u r coming to a place of ur near ones.
U ll b taken to a spacious clean room filled with all required amenities along with a lovely balcony with lush green view as ours was.The place has immediate calming & peaceful effect. The interior of every nooks & corner of the property is so subtle & has feel of personal touch.
Manager Mr. Arun is there to plan, arrange ur all day long trip even tickets for cruise to travel to other islands. I must mention though Sunday is his break but he assured us to extend his help over phone which he did like anything to book our cruise ticket on Sunday itself !!!!
Breakfast, Dinner have essence of fresh, home cooked. For lunch u ll get best advice of restaurant ( home service available).
I must not forget to mention abt all the boys of chaukhat whose smile, way of communication, way to offer help is so not trained & artificial but so genuine.
That might because they have got such a gracious, ever smiled, open hearted Captain of ship of Chaukhat, Mrs. Vrinda. I must acknowledge, u have taken chaukhat to a different level. Chaukhat can not be fallen into any regular category like hotel, b&b etc. It is exceptional, unique, has its own charm, own beauty, own way of hospitality.
Pls be remain as u r chaukhat so that we can come again & again at Port Blair to spend some beautiful moment in the lap of warmth of urs.
