The club was formed with an objective of sharing knowledge and information about the financial sector and bringing about active participation. Its activities include:
1) Finalyst: A Bi-monthly magazine which contains concise and in-depth analysis of emerging trends in the area of finance. It has a circulation of more than 2500 copies covering corporates, alumni and India’s top 30 B-schools.
2) Pre
and Post Budget Analysis: An annual effort, that involves detailed sector analysis and expectations of the Budget.
3) Knowledge series: Bi-weekly Publication which explains various financial topics in a layman's language
4) Bizfluence - Pink Paper Presentation which covers current financial news
Proud Club, Rich History, Bright Future! Its past events include:
1) The Risk Management Seminar: The seminar brought together corporate stalwarts with diverse experience in the field of financial risk management who put forward different perspectives on the issue and brought to light the different tools to mitigate risks.
2) Banking Conclave: Another major event that featured eminent personalities from the banking industry sharing their insights on Banking in the form of panel discussions.
3)Academic Summit on Valuation & Financial Modeling: It involved research papers being presented in the areas of Valuation of derivatives, structured Finance products, hedge funds, pension funds, M&A and IPO valuation, financial modeling and a lot more from researchers across the globe.
4) Research Seminar on Commodity Market: It was held on 18th February at Hotel Rangsharda, Mumbai in partnership with MCX and FMC. And continuing with the tradition, Finance Club presents Finance summit of 2013 on "Foreign exchange" in Mumbai on 12th January.
