Nuakhai Juhar! 🌾🙏

Celebrating the first harvest, the hands that nurture our land, and the beautiful traditions that keep us connected to our roots.

May this Nuakhai bring abundance, happiness and togetherness to every home.

From all of us at AZYDO, wishing you and your family a very Happy Nuakhai. ❤️

Jai Maa Samaleswari. Jai Jagannath.

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi 🙏

Today, while everyone is celebrating Gajanana, I was thinking about how beautifully Ganesha also finds a place in our Jagannath culture.

That is what I love most about Mahaprabhu.

You may come to Him as a Krishna bhakta, a Ganesha bhakta, a Shakti bhakta… but He never asks you to leave your form of faith outside His door.

The story of Ganapati Bhatta and Hati Besha is such a beautiful example of this — you come with your devotion, and Mahaprabhu meets you there.

And perhaps that is why Jagannath truly feels like Jagata ra Natha — the Lord of the Universe.

At Azydo, these are the stories we want to keep discovering, documenting and sharing — because Odisha’s rituals become even more beautiful when we understand the stories behind them.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. ❤️

Ganapati Bappa Morya 🙏
Jai Jagannath 🙏

There’s hardly anything in Odisha that hasn’t found its way into a craft — stone, horn, metal, leaves, coconut fibre… simple materials transformed by incredible hands. ❤️

Today, it’s coir.

Around Sakhigopal and other pockets of Puri district, coconut fibre takes the form of toys, animals and little works of art.

Every village, every corner of Odisha has something to tell. And at AZYDO HOMESTAY | Puri , we’re trying to bring as many of those stories and experiences to you as we can.

What if even a brochure could help you discover a little more of Odisha? ❤️

That was the thought behind creating the new Azydo booklet.

Not just pictures of rooms and a list of amenities, but little glimpses of the Odisha we want our guests to experience — through its art, food, music, stories, Mahaprabhu and, most importantly, the warmth of home.

Because at Azydo, we have always wanted the experience of Odisha to begin even before you check in.

Stay with us. Experience Odisha. Beautifully.
