Alibag fort ( Kolaba Fort )

#अलिबागकिल्ला ( कुलाबा किल्ला ) ,अलिबाग

कुलाबा किल्ला, अलिबाग अलिबागच्या समुद्रात असलेल्या खडकावर कुलाबा किल्ला व सर्जेकोट ही दूर्गद्वयी उभी आहे. हे दोनही किल्ले मिश्रदुर्ग ह्या प्रकारातील आहेत. भरतीच्या वेळी हा किल्ला चारही बाजूने पाण्याने वेढला जातो व जलदुर्ग बनतो; तर ओहोटीच्या वेळी किल्ल्यापर्यंतची जमीन उघडी पडते व किल्ला भूइकोट बनतो. हा दुर्ग ज्या खडकावर उभा आहे, त्याची दक्षिणोत्तर लांबी २६७ मीटर असून पूर्व पश्चिम रुंदी १०९ मीटर आहे. इतिहास : अलिबागच्या समुद्रात अर्धा किलोमीटरवर असलेल्या खडकावर मराठी सैन्याची चौकी होती. ‘‘ज्यांचे आरमार त्यांचा समुद्र‘‘ हे शिवाजी महाराजांना माहीत असल्यामुळे मोक्याच्या बेटांवर त्यांनी किल्ले बांधले व जुने बळकट केले. १९ मार्च १६८० रोजी महाराजांनी किल्ला बांधायला सुरुवात केली. त्यांच्या निधनानंतर संभाजी महाराजांनी कुलाबा किल्ल्याचे बांधकाम जून १६८१ मध्ये पूर्ण केले. सरखेल कान्होजी आंग्रे ह्यांच्या कारकीर्दीत कुलाबा किल्ला प्रसिध्दीस आला. त्यावेळी आरमारी हालचालींचा डावपेचांचा हा किल्ला केंद्र होता. ४ जुलै १७२९ रोजी कान्होजी आंग्रे ह्यांचे कुलाबा किल्ल्यावर निधन झाले.

” विकासाचे ” केवळ साक्षीदार नाही तर शिल्पकार बना !
नमस्कार,

मी हेमंत भदाणे. “चला कोकण” वर ब्लॉग लिहिताना मला मनस्वी आनंद होत आहे. जन्मभूमी आणि कर्मभूमी यांच्या ऋणातून मुक्त होता येत नाही, असा सर्वसाधारण समज आहे. परंतु ऋणातून मुक्त होण्याचा सातत्याने प्रयत्न करणे हे मात्र आपल्या हातात असतं. असे संस्कार माझ्यावर घरातून झालेले आहेत.

“चला कोकण” हे ब्रीदवाक्य घेऊन मी कोकणच्या विकासासाठी कटिबद्ध असलेल्या सर्व संस्थांच्या व व्यक्तींच्या खांद्याला खांदा लावून माझं योगदान देण्याचा केवळ विचारच केला असं नाही तर मी त्या दिशेने वाटचाल सुरू केली आहे.

येत्या 24 जून 2016 रोजी त्या वाटचालीतील ” मैलाचा दगड ” ठरेल असा कार्यक्रम कोकणाचं प्रवेशद्वार समजलं जाणाऱ्या ” अलिबाग ” शहरात होणार आहे.

” चला कोकण ” या नावाने मी एक Mobile App व Website चं अनावर करणार आहे.

संपूर्ण कोकणाची सर्वांगीण आणि समृद्ध माहिती जगाच्या कानाकोपर्‍यात पोहचवून जगातील पर्यटकांना आकर्षित करण्याचा मी प्रामाणिक प्रयत्न करणार आहे. माझा प्रवास सुरू झालेला आहे. या प्रवासातील आपण माझे सहप्रवासी आहात. आपले मत, विचार, भावना, अनुभव आणि त्या अनुषंगाने आपले मार्गदर्शन मला अपेक्षित आहे.

एका मराठी गाण्यातून “कोकणची माणसं साधीभोळी ” आहेत हे पोहोचलेलं आहेच. मी, कोकणची “माती आणि निसर्ग” सुद्धा समृद्ध आहेत, हे पोचवण्याचा प्रयत्न करणार आहे.

आपण सर्वजण कोकणाच्या सर्वागीण विकासाचे स्वप्न पहाणारे आहोत. माझं या ब्लॉगद्वारे आपणास विनम्र आवाहन आहे की चला, केवळ विकासाचे “साक्षीदार” नाही तर “शिल्पकार” होवू यात.
