Brunch in the village: A simple but delicious fare of roti, kadi, achar (pickle) and buttermilk. The kadi which is made from buttermilk and besan (chickpea flour) is cooked slowly over the chulha. All home grown food including the grains. They say that eating chapatis cooked on a chulah prevents gas and acidity. There is no concept of lunch. The first meal brunch is eaten at about 11 am. The evening meal is about 8 pm. Come and taste a slice of the village life!
