We had the privilege of attending the 9th Charles Correa Memorial Lecture, organized in collaboration with the Charles Correa Foundation—an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating the enduring legacy of one of architecture's greatest visionaries.

It was a true honour to listen to Marlon Blackwell,(MARLON BLACKWELL ARCHITECTS) the globally acclaimed American architect and recipient of the AIA Gold Medal. His presentation showcased an extraordinary portfolio of projects that reflected a deep understanding of people, place, culture, and purpose. His thoughtful insights into human-centric, climate-responsive, and socially meaningful architecture left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Hand-drawn motifs, textured surfaces, and controlled lighting come together to add layers of meaning beyond form.
These elements are not decorative pauses, but part of the spatial narrative—quietly guiding movement, mood, and experience.

Architecture here is expressed through material, pattern, and light working in balance.

Here, the built form steps back to let the landscape lead.

Planting is layered and purposeful, creating soft transitions between open ground and structure.
Shaded edges, filtered light, and restrained materials allow the architecture to settle quietly within its surroundings rather than dominate them.

The intent is simple: spaces that feel grounded, calm, and deeply connected to their context.
