Jim's Jungle Retreat Jim’s Jungle Retreat is a jungle lodge that invites you to the Seek the Tiger, Find the Jungle. On Insta & Twitter:

Curated experiences include forest immersion, wellness, interpretive safaris, organic cuisine. A forest environment awaits you at the retreat, located along the buffer forest of Corbett National Park’s southern edge. Aloof from civilization, the seasonal river nearby hosts grazing deer, root-digging wild hog and migrating elephant herds that can be enjoyed from the safety of our solar fenced property. Our water bodies and forest cover, planted over 20 years, are now home to several bird and smaller mammalian species.

Built for a life without hurry.

The Burmese Python (Python bivittatus) is one of Asia’s largest snakes, adapted to a range of habitats and closely associated with areas where suitable cover and water are available.

Like other pythons, it is ectothermic, relying on its surroundings to regulate body temperature. Basking helps raise its temperature, while shade, shelter and other protected spaces help it avoid unwanted heat loss or overheating.

A powerful constrictor and patient ambush predator, the Burmese Python is another important part of the intricate food web of the landscapes it inhabits.
