Mahadeva Village Home Stay – is located in the Village Pakhura, 16 kms from Ranikhet, District Almora, Uttrakhand. It caters to travellers with special interests who prefer to be part of the real environment of a place and want to learn more about the authentic natural, cultural and historical aspects of the locality they are visiting. Mahadeva home stay has all the basic amenities like electricity, water, telephone etc. From the main road you have to walk for 10 mins to reach your destination, the home stay also has a magnificent Café where you get mostly locally sourced seasonal vegetables. We serve authentic Kumaoni food and the menu also includes Pasta, Burgers etc but we provide you with all the seasonal food which is grown at our farm. We have a meditation room where you can peacefully connect with your inner self. We encourage our guest to contribute, one hour of the day for ‘Shramdaan’ where you can either help in gardening or the kitchen duty, This helps you understand and experience the village life better. The people working at the guest house belong to the village and can earn their livelihood by working here. The village home stay is blend of traditional and modern culture we welcome you with open arms to rediscover yourself. We will make sure your stay with us is comfortable, enjoyable and also a learning experience. We also have a souvenir shop where you can purchase the local products and some exclusive handicrafts.
