I remember writing the lyrics for this song as I jostled in a crowded bus while going home. But thanks to Lokenath Baba the words came out in a single attempt.And by the time i deboarded the bus the stanzas were completed

But it wouldn't have transformed into a song, let alone a foot tapping one, had I not met the very talented Rajarshi Guha . He is the vocalist for my song and also composed this soulful tune. Furthermore i met Dipatangshu ( Zubin) and he took "Bondhu Bol" to a different level.

Lastly it was Amrit Mukherjee & Om Chanda who created this awesome music video/ Bts for our film FRIENDS.

I don't have the contacts or resources to market this song. But each one of you can help me out. By sharing this song to as many people as possible.

সিরাজের বহুমূল্য হীরে পান্না থাকলেও কোনো কোহিনুর ছিল না। এমনটাই ইতিহাস আমাদের শিখিয়েছে। তাহলে পলাশীর যুদ্ধের ২৬৮ বছর পর, বুয়েনস্ এয়ারসে্ বসে কোন গুপ্তধন হাতিয়ে নেওয়ার ষড়যন্ত্র করা হয়েছিল? সেহেনো ধনদৌলতের বাজারমূল্য নাকি একশো মিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার ছুঁয়ে ফেলত।

তারপর গুপ্তধনের সন্ধানে ময়মনসিংহ, কোলকাতা, মুম্বাই, দেরাদুন ও ঢাকা শহরে একের পর এক লাশ পরতে শুরু করল।

ভাগ্যের পরিহাস, কোলকাতার যুবক নবাব এবং ওর বান্ধবী দিশারী অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে এই গুপ্তধনের খোঁজে জড়িয়ে পড়ল। কিছু মানুষ মনে করলেন, সেই বহুমূল্য ঐতিহাসিক ধনসম্পত্তির হদিশ নাকি একমাত্র নবাব দিতে পারত। সত্যি কি তাই? কিন্তু ওর মতো এক নির্ভেজাল, নিলি্প্ত যুবকের সাথে ইতিহাসের কোন রহস্য আড়ালে লুকিয়ে ছিল?
