Soon, enjoy star gazing at Pench Maharashtra

Already happy with frequent tiger sightings, tourists visiting Pench Tiger Reserve (PTR) on Maharashtra side are in for another attraction as the park management is starting astro-tourism.

Apart from rich flora and fauna, now Pench tourists will be able to go star gazing from this week. Pench has become the first reserve in the state to promote astro-tourism.

According to sources, the auto tracking telescope has been procured for Rs1.41 lakh from a Thane-based firm, and has been installed at a roof top observatory in Piparia forest colony.
