Shahpura Haveli; is the erstwhile residence of Late Maharaj Sardar Singhji, younger brother of Late Rajadhiraj Ummaid Singhji and son of Late Rajadhiraj Nahar Singhji; he was an officer from Jodhpur Lancers, who participated in First and Second World War under the British Empire. The Haveli is currently occupied by his Grand Nephew Maj Gen Mahavir Singh, who has distinction of being the first Maj Gen of Indian Army from Shahpura and Bhilwara district. His wife is from the royal family of Sarguja (Chattishgarh). His son is again a serving office of Armoured Corps. Married to Kanwarani Jhanvi Kumari of Geejgarh.
His daughter Gitanjali Kumari is a jewellery exporter and now married and settled in Ukraine.
The haveli has been renovated into a luxurious and comfortable home stay. It has 8 lovely rooms. There are a number of activities that one can enjoy here unwinding in the unexplored part of Rajasthan. Being over 100 years old the building is a mix of colonial and traditional architecture.
