While walking around our abode under the warm winter sun, it seems unusually quiet. But we are starting to hear the pre-Christmas cheer with the distant rustling of pine groves and trees. We can't wait to open our gates and welcome you soon!

Our front porch captured on a sunny November morning. The beauty and essence of the porch goes beyond this photograph.

One can enjoy a steaming cup of Assam tea while soaking up the winter sun, play board games or spend some quality time with a book; right here in the front foyer. It is the perfect place to share with friends, family or even all by yourself.

The porch has a rarity that we ache to look for in life - a space of warmth and comfort.

Bhupen Hazarika's lyrical marvel can be comprehended when one stays even for a day in La Chaumiere; to relive the quaint charm of Shillong and to experience the lost grandeur of a bygone era.
