Farmer’s Share was never meant to be a camping space.
And Polika was never meant to be just a camp.

Farmer’s Share is a community for those asking how to live closer to nature, with care, dignity, and sustainability 🌱
Polika began for those who asked for two days away from the rush of everyday life, two days to pause, breathe, and feel grounded again.

Now, we’re ready to welcome the third Polika, happening on 7th & 8th, with arrivals open from the evening of the 6th.

In a life that’s always running, Polika is those two days we keep telling ourselves we need.
Filled with laughter, shared meals, crafts, good energy, and moments that stay long after the days end ✨

A group of families from FLLOW came together at Farmer’s Share for a few days of shared living, slowing down, and being with land, food, and each other 🌱

FLLOW – Families Living & Learning on the Way – is a collective of parents and families, across homeschooling, unschooling, and schooling paths, who are exploring alternatives and staying open to learning — not just for children, but for themselves as parents too.

Farmer’s Share deeply resonated with these values. The space reflects a way of life that honours curiosity, simplicity, and learning through everyday living. The family and their story became an integral part of the experience — not as hosts or facilitators, but as fellow learners walking their own evolving path.

This wasn’t a camp built around lessons, sessions, or outcomes. With no fixed agenda and no one teaching, the space invited children and adults to slow down, notice, and engage with everyday life as it unfolded. What emerged was not a programme, but a shared experience — where children followed their curiosity, parents reflected on their own rhythms, and learning grew naturally through living together ✨

Polika is a slow, intentional gathering by the banks of the Bharathapuzha — created to pause, connect, create, and share stories rooted in land, culture, and community.

On Farmer’s Day, our crew at Farmer’s Share spent time with Mrs. Anitha, a neighbourhood organic farmer, as she shared her journey with Ambrosettan on her challenges, learnings, and deep connection with the soil.

These conversations remind us that farming is not just about food, but about patience, resilience, and care shaped by everyday lives. We are grateful to source fresh vegetables directly from farmers like Mrs. Anitha, supporting their work while bringing honest, nourishing food to our table.

Today, we honour farmers whose dedication sustains our communities and keeps the bond between people and land alive. 🌾
