It was a privilege to host the SCODWES Board Members at Captain’s Camp, Sirsi for their Annual General Meeting. 🌿

69 visits to India, and a love story with this country that began in his twenties. 🇮🇳

We had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful French family — a gentleman in his 60s, travelling with his wife, his two daughters and their childhood friends.

His relationship with India is anything but ordinary. In his twenties, he spent nearly a decade across Karnataka and Kerala, studying in a Gurukul and becoming deeply influenced by Indian culture and traditions. His connection was so profound that he even gave his daughter an Indian name.

Meeting a family carrying such a beautiful, decades-old connection with India was truly special. We were delighted to host them at our little corner of the Western Ghats, and even happier to see them continue their journey to Hampi.

Some journeys are not about discovering India for the first time — they're about returning to a place that has always felt like home. 🌿
