Last sunday i visited a shiv mandir also called as stone kumbh made by sh. Satya bhusan ji who is building this temple alone from last 34 years...he started building this temple in 1980 and he is still going on to complete his work with the guidance of lord shiva..this place is epitome of creativity and surrenderence of sh. Satya bhusan ji to lors shiva..amazing work done by a common man...
U can reach this place by car or by trekking through a beautiful jungle of devdaar and oak trees..this place is 4 km away from chail, village bahlawag , near janedghat, chail kufri road..
One should visit this place..the shiv mandir not only fill us with devotion but also inspire us to work just like sh. Staya bhushan ji and make our dreams come true..

This rhodendron flower is edible and enjoyed for its sour taste..local people here it in chail make squash and juice from it..the pickled flower can last for month and the flower juice , jam and squash is also marketed which is easily available at Chail.. The flower is also added to fish curry in the belief that it will soften the bones..you can easily see this flower at chail while trekking through the jungle and really its so mesmerising to see this flower in full blossom..

Rhododendron at chail..

Locally called as buransh is the Jewel of the jungle..it is the national flower of nepal. Most species have showy flower which bloom from late winter through to early summer..
