A tender moment feat. mother and cubs witnessed by the water.

Sloth bear cubs hitch a ride on their mother’s back for the first few months of their lives, staying safe, close, and always within reach. In the wild, this behaviour not only protects them from predators, but also helps them learn essential survival skills, one step at a time.

This season, Tadoba is shaping up to be something special. Several tigresses across core and buffer zones have been spotted moving with cubs.

Here’s who we’ve been watching closely 👇

🐅 Babli | seen with 3 cubs, just about 4 months old
🐅 Zara | often seen moving between core and buffer zones with 4 cubs (~14 months). There have been consistent sightings where these five tigers have been spotted together, especially around Khutwanda
🐅 C3 | known to cross into the Moharli zone with cubs
🐅 Bijli | consistently active with 3 sub-adults around Kolara
🐅 Collarwali | has been on-the-go with 3 cubs (~14 months)

Expect to witness unforgettable moments across the park. Don’t be surprised if you encounter any roadblocks on your next visit to Tadoba 🚧🐅🐅🐅
