Tucked away into a tropical moist deciduous forest ridgeline, Shatavari cottages are dedicated to the ancient Indian names of celestial bodies and overlook an expanse of farmlands and the forests.

Spacious and airy, with all modern amenities fused together with an ethnic touch, the cottages of Shatavari in the lap of nature are outward-looking and earth-friendly. Walk here or arrive by our buggy transport, and rest the day whilst reading a book or watching the scenic beauty of the twin peaks & greenery.

Homestead farms

With homegrown veggies to choose from, an array of water bodies and medicinal plants to give company and all modern amenities to make you comfortable amidst a farm landscape.

Wake up to the call of the rooster here, breathe in fresh village air by the pond and go for a walk to pick organic greens while you are here. Better still do nothing and seep in the sounds of nature on the porch outside as the slow pace of lifestreams by around you.

The Hall

Set amidst an expanse of greens and a sprawling farmscape as its backdrop this 250 capacity hall is one of its kind in the region.

It has a well equipped modern kitchen and restaurant with walkover connectivity, ample parking space and an array of options to stay, refresh and dine on the property itself.

Ideal for weddings, conferences, and parties, the hall is also used for outbound training programs and brain-storming sessions in combination with the outdoor setup of Shatavri eco-resort.

The Staff

The Shatavari team is a family of varied individuals who come together to give you a farm stay experience that you will cherish. Trained in hospitality as well as jungle craft, farming and welcoming guests comes naturally to them. The staff speak Marathi and Konkani fluently and can understand English and Kannada.

The Dining-Shidori

Local traditional home-style cuisine with recipes that have been handed over by generations is a celebration for your taste buds. Goan & Belgaum food, picked from the local organic produce, is served with love & pride in a buffet.
