Red Passion Flower/ लाल कौरव पांडव -
Nature often tells stories in the most beautiful ways 🌸
This stunning Passion Flower, known in India as Krishna Kamal(कृष्ण कमल) , is believed to symbolize the Mahabharata. Its intricate design reflects characters and elements from the epic — the delicate corona threads represent the 100 Kauravas, while the five prominent stamens stand for the 5 Pandavas. Above them, the three stigmas are seen as the holy Trinity — Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh — and the central column is often associated with Lord Krishna, the guiding force behind the entire saga.
Even the surrounding petals and sepals are said to represent the larger universe in which this great story unfolds.
Because of this deep symbolism, it is also lovingly called the Kaurav-Pandav (कौरव पांडव) flower — a beautiful blend of nature, devotion, and storytelling.
