It's months since we both had a good night sleep. When I look around I found most of my friends in similar conditions.
It's only us or our previous generation was also feeling the same?
Difficult to say because our parents never faced challanges and kind of worries we face.
No matter how much we earn our worries too grows accordingly.

Now the question comes about toiletteries.
Most used item is bathing soap and toilet paper.
We know through the supplier that some of the middle range lodges here in Tala Bandhavgarh uses the most cheapest toilet roll and liquid soap., shampoo and conditioner.
Most of our guests stays minimum for four nights so we believe in best and uses Pears soap bar dettol liquid soap.
Its better to put a small shampoo conditioner bottle rather than those sachet. One has to fight with nail and tooth to open them under the shower.
We dont compare ourselves with others becsuse running a homestay is not like running a commercial organisation where they fight for saving every penny andd forget about the standard.
But most of the foreigners carry their own toiletteries.

One of our guest suggested us to use duck feather quilt in the room.
I checked them on amazon and on other online suppliers.
Best quality quilt for single bed is about 10 to 12 thousand rupees.
Presently we are using 600 gsm micro fiber quilt with cover which are very good for winter.
I wonder if any other lodge is using duck feather quilt in Tala bandhavgarh.

It will be very difficult to find a mushroom in Tala and near by villages but if you see a bamboo clump certainly you will find a hotel near it.
That's how much thhe tourism has grown here and most of them has nothing to do with wildlifealthough they are surviving on wildlife tourism.

If you are planning to visit bandhavgarh during christmas new year time then better book yr park entry in core if not then be ready to visit buffer.
Now there are 4 buffer open for tourism in bandhzvgarh where tiger sighting is real luck.

Skay’s Camp Bandhavgarh - Home Stay

We started our home stay with just one room. When we built this place we had no plan to run a Home Stay. We just had one room spare for friends and family which we were using as a guset room.

When our friends started asking us to stay with us instead of Hotel we couldn’t say No to them and thats how this business started.

Publicity through Word of mouth from our friends and people who stayed with us keeps us alive in the business.

Kay and me (Satyendra K Tiwari) runs this place with the help of my brother Hariom. Kay is a wildlife artist and I does wildlife photography. Our extensive knowledge about Bandhavgarh and it’s Tigers keeps our guests happy.
