Situated in the cool hills of the Western Ghats in Kerala, in the midst of plantations of pepper, vanilla, coffee, Nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom, it offers a unique stay for nature lovers. It is a special category home stay set in 55 cents compound at Kumily, near Thekkady. The Home stay set in a cool and serene unpolluted location with the aroma of spices all a

round offers the guests all the modern facilities. It is situated close to the Periyar wild life sanctuary. A Homestay is an accommodation provided in private home, with no more than 8 rooms available for guests, run by the house owner. For the time being we are providing 3 double & one single bedded flats that included sitting room, kitchen and balconey so you will get a real homely environment.

Lemon Vines is a beautiful ornamental flowering vine with opposite leaves divided into two ovates leaflets. It produces numerous woody vines from the root that grow only 2-3 m tall and form a shrub-like appearance with bright green leaves up to 15 cm long. Blooming twice a year, flowers are funnel shaped , start off purple with white throat. Wikipedia shows its fruits and leaves are edible.

കാച്ചിലിന്റെ വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ചുറ്റിക്കയറുന്ന ഒരിനം വള്ളിച്ചെടിയാണ് വെന്നിക്കിഴങ്ങ്. (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: dioscorea hispida). പൊടവക്കിഴങ്ങ്, പൊടിക്കിഴങ്ങ്, ബോളൻകണ്ടി, വെന്നി എന്നെല്ലാം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഔഷധസസ്യമാണ്. കിഴങ്ങുണ്ടാവും.

A Homestay is an accommodation provided in private home, with no more than 6 rooms available for guests, run by the house owner. For the time being we are providing 4 double bedded flats that included sitting room, dressing room, bathroom and common balcony so you will get a real homely environment.

If you are a nature lover our property is the best place to stay. Different kind of birds, small animals, butterflies, moths etc are the unique visitors of this property as we very close to forest. We are still developing organic garden surrounding the property. So your stall will be not only mind refreshing but also knowledgeable.

The traditional food cooked by our mom is the most special and unique. No explanation, just try to taste it.
