We have suspended operations due to the Pandemic until further notice. Each bunk bed comes with a comfortable mattress, pillow & linen.

All rooms and dorms have ensuite bathrooms equipped with western styled commode & hot/cold shower. A plug point and reading light is located next to each dorm bed. We provide individual lockers with provision to use your own lock to store your valuables. We offer complimentary breakfast, drinking water & WIFI. You also have the option to grab a bite at our outdoor cafe. We accept international deb

Our Story

Electric Cats Hostel Munnar is located 15KM from the town of Munnar. Our hostel is located in a very peaceful location amidst loads of greenery and close to a reservoir where you can go kayaking. Apart from this, there are various other things your could do like renting out a bicycle to explore the area, go on hikes, visit tea plantations, spice gardens, view points and waterfalls. We offer safe and clean accommodation in private rooms, mixed and female-only dorms. All rooms and dorms have an attached bathroom with hot and cold shower facility. Each bunk bed comes with a comfortable mattress, pillow & linen. A plug point & reading light is located next to each bed. We provide individual lockers with provision to use your own lock to store your valuables. We offer complimentary breakfast, drinking water & WIFI. You also have the option to grab a bite at the cafe downstairs. We accept international debit and credit cards. The common areas are CCTV monitored for your safety and also includes a community kitchen with facilities like microwave, refrigerator, oven, utensils and stove. The first floor has a balcony which is great for playing some board games and also a terrace which is perfect for yoga, meditation or to just soak up some sun. Power backup ensures that lighting & fans will functional in the event of power failure. Laundry, bicycle hire, trekking and other activities, airport transfers and cab bookings can also be arranged at an additional cost.
