The survey for the realignment of the Dudu-Seoj Dhar road has been successfully conducted by our brave engineers—well done, team, keep up the good work. We extend our gratitude to the Honorable Minister Dr Jitendra Singh Honorable MLAs Balwant Singh Mankotia and Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj and the local leadership. If this road is constructed, the area has the potential to become even better than Srinagar. We wish to thank everyone who supported this initiative and worked behind the scenes; future generations will remember your contributions. A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially the PMGSY Department (Ramnagar Division) and the Forest Department team.

World Environment Day Celebrated with Tree Plantation Drive at Latti*

On the occasion of *World Environment Day, 5th June*, the *Forest Department* and *Forest Protection Force* jointly organized a *tree plantation drive* at *Compartment No. 6, Latti* in collaboration with *Panchayat Latti-A* and *Panchayat Latti-B*.

Officers, field staff, PRIs,BDO , JE, Block staff and local residents participated enthusiastically in the drive. Saplings of various local species were planted to promote afforestation and environmental conservation in the region.

The initiative aimed to spread awareness on *“Protect Forests, Protect Future”* and to encourage community participation in restoring green cover in hilly areas of *Tehsil Latti-Dudu*.

The public of Latti appreciated the joint efforts of the Forest Department and both Panchayats for this green initiative.
