The Rise Tower is an ambitious megaproject planned for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and if completed, it will become the tallest building in the world. Proposed at an extraordinary height of around 2,000 metres (2 km) with nearly 678 floors, the tower is designed as a futuristic mixed-use development. It will include luxury hotels, residential apartments, offices, shopping, entertainment zones, and observation decks offering unmatched views of the capital. Developed under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the tower will be the centerpiece of a new urban district called North Pole, which spans over 300 square kilometers near King Khalid International Airport. Designed by globally renowned architects such as Foster + Partners and HKS Architects, the project is estimated to cost around 5 billion US dollars. Construction is expected to begin in the coming years, with parts of the development possibly ready by 2030. If realized as planned, the Rise Tower will not only surpass the Burj Khalifa and the Jeddah Tower but also redefine engineering, architecture, and urban living on an unprecedented scale, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s vision for futuristic growth under its Vision 2030 program.
