Long lunches.
Big dinners.

We surfed a lot of waves in Varkala.
Some good. Some not so good.

We spent 15 years here.

Surfed these waves.
Practised yoga on these rooftops.
Ate a lot of good food.
Met a lot of people who arrived as guests and left as friends.

The Soul & Surf India may have closed, but we're still finding old photos that make us miss it a bit.

Missing Varkala?
So are we.

We spent 15 years there, and while our India home has closed, the thing that made it special never lived in one place.

Dawn surf to meet the edge.

Then we soften—

Handmade market stalls
Music that carries it all into the evening.

stimulus, stillness, community.
