The quintessence of traveling
I was traveling a lot in my life, all over the world and with every little and longer journey I came closer to my personal quintessence for a restorative and satisfying holiday. Now I’m not traveling very often anymore. I changed to the other side...I am now welcoming the world to my little paradise. At Mad about Coco you can find a mix of things that I liked while exploring foreign countries, from the minimum of what you really need while on holidays to the maximum of hospitality and happiness. Step by step, since 2014 when I started my small business in Varkala, I’m focussing on creating the perfect holiday ambience with everything I would love to find when I’m traveling. Slowly slowly I’m getting there with the support of my committed team and friends, spending only the money we just earned, always thinking well about what is really needed to make our guests feel happy and relaxed. There is still some space to fill with great ideas. That’s why now, when I get the chance to travel, I’m longing for even more inspiration and I’m collecting hundreds of new ideas to make Mad about Coco even better...and one day, I know, I will also offer you the pool I’m dreaming of.
I don’t think it’s necessary to be in the lap of luxury to feel comfortable and it’s wether the TV, nor the minibar that makes you happy and relaxed. For me traveling is about going out and leaving everything behind to get back to myself. It’s about talking to people to listen to myself again, to come back home and appreciating what I have and who I am. It’s about breaking routines and changing the point of view, seeing and doing new things or old things in a different way. All you need for that is a welcoming atmosphere created by some friendly and helpful people and a functional but comfortable surrounding. Mad about Coco is offering you all that and much more than just a basic room with a bed to sleep and breakfast on-site.
