Il vivaio Susigarden di Giovanni Geotti e Suzanne Lukas, da anni produce e coltiva in vaso piante per il giardino e l’orto di una clientela sempre più ricca di appassionati e conoscitori. Curiosità e attenzione per specie e varietà interessanti, nuove o insolite e l’impegno costante nel continuare a produrre e coltivare piante antiche e spesso dimenticate, hanno consentito di realizzare, negli an

ni, vere e proprie collezioni di rose, viole antiche, hydrangee, pelargoni, erbacee perenni. Altrettanto ampia è la scelta di piante annuali, alberi e arbusti, dai classici ai più particolari e meno conosciuti.

Allium 'Serendipity' and Allium ' Lavender Bubbles'® are two very courageous plants to start flowering now in this heat. The first flowering at 45-50 cm with leaves that become red in the autumn. A. 'Lavenender Bubbles® with it's blue green leaves and 35cm height, have larger flowering heads, but both are best if they have at least 6 hours in sun for better flower color. Ours are under shading nets so have less intense color.

In full swing is the always impressive flowering of the Hydrangea paniculate. Here we've got 'Diamantino' with big, round, fat flowers that grow to about 1.20 cm. The second is 'Fire Light', a new one on the block with very robust branches that go to 1.80cm. The last one is one of the highest to 2.5m if you let it. It can be pruned when young. All are very white at first and then with age of flowering become pink, rose and green, then beige. Nice dry flowers, even in winter, to remember the summer flowering.......

The Lagerstoemia is in full flower!
A color for every taste. The violet one is from the Black Solitaire series 'Shell Pink'. The names they give......grows to 2 meters, a short one. The red one is naturally 'Dynamite' that can grow to 5 meters if you want. And a lovely hot pink is from the Indya Charms series 'Braise cd'Ete' to 3 meters. Then all the other ones........

From the 1st of June: 8:00 - 12:30 from Monday till Saturday.

Heh, just wanted to wish both the hosts of "Gardini Aperti" and their guests a great sunny day tomorrow!!
We can always hope in good weather, no? Today it shouldn't rain, so some recovery maybe the poor plants can have. The rose is from Tantau in 2010. In bouquet or cluster the bush rose grows to 80 cm, is continuously in flower and resistant to disease.
