Calendario alla mano: è tempo di segnare la prima sciata.
Il calendario è pronto e da sabato 28 novembre 2026 a domenica 11 aprile 2027, condizioni di innevamento permettendo, torna la stagione del Monterosa Ski 3 Valli.
Si torna a sciare tra Champoluc-Frachey in Val d’Ayas, Stafal in Valle di Gressoney e Alagna in Valsesia, con il Monte Rosa a fare da spettacolare sfondo alle vostre giornate sulla neve.
Che sia per un weekend sugli sci, una settimana bianca o una nuova avventura tra le nostre montagne, è già il momento di iniziare a programmare.

E non finisce qui: sul sito trovate anche le date di apertura delle ski area satellite di Alpe di Mera, Antagnod, Brusson, Champorcher e Gressoney-Saint-Jean.

We’re very happy to welcome Momo, our new chef at Hotel Monterosa. He’s already bringing passion, energy and new ideas to our kitchen.

All we can think about now is winter 🩷

Lift opening dates and ski pass information for the coming season are now available – so it’s time to start planning winter in the mountains.

One team – and a big thank you for this summer 🩷

We’ve now wrapped up our summer season together and taken some time to look back, reflect and celebrate as a team.

We’re incredibly grateful – for all our guests for everyone in Alagna who has welcomed us and for the people who have worked together to make this first summer so special.

In this photo you’ll find people from both Hotel Monterosa and Caffè delle Guide. Two places, but one team 🩷

Now it’s time for a few weeks of rest before we come back and get ready for our first winter season.

We’re looking forward to lots of snow, busy days, familiar faces and many new ones. And most of all to creating new memories and relationships here in Alagna.

The sheep and goats are making their way down from the higher pastures as the summer season in the mountains is coming to an end.

Late summer in the mountains🩷

The days are still beautifully warm 26–28 degrees this week – but the mornings have that fresh mountain coolness that makes the start of the day feel completely different.

A short walk from Alagna is our neighbouring village, Riva Valdobbia. Small, picturesque and beautifully framed by the mountains – one of those places we never get tired of walking through.

Warm days, cool mornings and clear mountain air.

September in Valsesia is looking rather lovely. 🩷

Simple food, served the Italian way. 🩷

Italian cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. Often, it’s quite the opposite – good ingredients, simple flavours and time around the table.

At Hotel Monterosa, dinner follows the Italian tradition of several courses.

Antipasto – a small beginning.
Primo – often homemade pasta, risotto or soup.
Secondo – meat or fish, simply prepared and served with vegetables.
And finally, dolce – something sweet to finish.

Simple dishes, several courses – and plenty of time to enjoy them. 🩷

This one is for our guests 🩷

Some stay with us for several weeks.
Some for just a few days.
Some book another stay before they’ve even left.
And some write to us three days after getting home asking if they can come back this winter.

That makes us incredibly happy.

Because somewhere along the way, between breakfasts, dinners, days in the mountains and conversations in the bar, you become part of life here at Hotel Monterosa.

And when it’s time to say goodbye, we genuinely miss you.
