A little look outside the window at Abruzzo Borgo: olive groves, rolling hills and a valley stretching into the distance. My favourite part is watching the light change across the landscape—you can look out of the same window every day and still notice something different.

This is what’s happening in the vineyards all around Abruzzo Borgo right now! 🇮🇹🍷

The Montepulciano grapes are being harvested, crushed and pressed, beginning their journey from the vineyard to the w**e cellar.

All around us, the vineyards are alive with the sights, sounds and traditions of the Abruzzo grape harvest. 🍇🌿

There’s something incredibly special about watching a centuries-old Italian tradition happening right on our doorstep.

From the vines to the bottle, this is Abruzzo in a glass. ❤️🍷

🫒 Picking olives with family and friends… who needs a gym? 😂

A week into the harvest at Abruzzo Borgo and we’re definitely feeling it! Steep hills, tired arms and someone always asking when we’re stopping for lunch. But sharing the work, the laughs and that first taste of fresh olive oil makes it worth it. 💚🇮🇹

🫒 Nobody tells you how olive picking feels after a WEEK…

Day one: fresh air, beautiful views, plenty of enthusiasm.
A week later: even the olives look heavier! 😂

Olive picking at Abruzzo Borgo has its lovely moments, but sometimes it gets seriously hard. Especially on our steep hillside, where just keeping your balance is part of the job!

Olive picking in Italy looks romantic… until you’re halfway up our VERY steep hill! 🫒😂

Picking olives at Abruzzo Borgo was hard work—keeping our footing was a workout on its own! Beautiful views, aching legs, and a whole new appreciation for every drop of olive oil. 🇮🇹🌿
