🎡✨ TONIGHT: Experience a Real Italian Village Festa! 🇮🇹🍕🎶
If you’re staying in Abruzzo and wondering what to do tonight, this is a great chance to experience one of the things we love most about summer in Abruzzo — a traditional village festa in Torre de’ Passeri! ❤️🇮🇹
The Festa Patronale di Sant’Antonino e Santa Croce begins tonight, Wednesday 2 September, with celebrations continuing until 4 September.
🌙 So what can you actually do there?
🎡 Enjoy the fairground — wander among the lights, rides and attractions that transform the town for the festa.
🛍️ Browse the bancarelle — traditional street stalls selling everything from sweets and snacks to toys, gifts and little Italian curiosities.
🍕 Eat your way around the festa! Stop for pizza, porchetta, arrosticini, panini, sweets or a drink and enjoy that wonderful smell of Italian street food filling the streets.
🎶 Follow the music and entertainment as the normally quiet town comes alive for the evening.
🍹 Stop at one of the local bars for an aperitivo, glass of w**e or spritz and watch the festa happening around you.
⛪ Experience the traditional side of the celebration. Patron-saint festivals aren’t simply parties — they are part of the culture and history of these small Abruzzo communities, bringing generations of local families together.
✨ And perhaps the best part is simply walking through the streets after dark — lights overhead, families out together, children on the rides, people chatting outside the bars and the whole town buzzing.
These are the evenings where you get to see the Abruzzo that tourists often miss.

Sometimes the best memories of Italy aren’t made at the famous tourist attractions — they’re made on a warm evening at a little village festa you didn’t even know was happening. ❤️
