Il Bed and Breakfast Hibiscus è stato fondato da Angela Marello nel 2004. Si trova a piano terra di un condominio di famiglia con, al retro, un cortile all'aperto dove si può fare colazione all'ombra di un albicocco nei giorni più caldi. Non è concesso agli ospiti di cucinare, ma viene messo a disposizione nel soggiorno/sala colazione un frigorifero comune per piccole quantità di cibo, acqua ecc.
C'è, inoltre, una macchina per il caffè, un bollitore e un forno a microonde in cucina per la preparazione di piccoli snack. Il cortile è sempre accessibile: qui ci si potrà rilassare, si potrà fumare e si potrà stendere asciugamani e costumi da bagno per asciugare. I bagni non sono in camera, ma non vi viene chiesto di condividerli con clienti esterni al vostro gruppo. Al vostro arrivo , verrete accolti da Angela o Nando che vi faranno vedere le vostre camere. Parliamo italiano, inglese, francese e Algherese (il dialetto locale simile al catalano). La colazione è continentale e include una scelta fra caffè, tè, succo di frutta, cornetti freschi, pane, cereali e yogurt. C'è un piccolo supplemento per chi preferisse salumi e formaggi. Se avete qualche intolleranza alimentare (celiachia, intolleranza al lattosio, ecc.) siete pregati di comunicarcelo in anticipo. In caso di necessità mettiamo a disposizione un lettino da viaggio e un seggiolone per bambini. Dal B&B è facile raggiungere il centro e le fermate degli autobus per l'aeroporto e le spiagge e non è necessario noleggiare una macchina. Non c'è un parcheggio riservato ma si può posteggiare gratuitamente nelle strade intorno al B&B. In caso vengano portate delle biciclette sarà possibile lasciarle nel giardinetto all'ingresso. Non è permesso fumare all'interno del B&B ma si può fumare nel cortile o nel giardinetto fronte strada. Non sono ammessi animali domestici. Bed and breakfast in a residential area of Alghero with private patio garden. 5 minutes on foot to the town centre with all the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, close to transport links to the most beautiful beaches. Hibiscus was established in 2004 by Angela Marello and is now run by Angela and her brother Nando. It is on the ground floor of a small family owned block with a large patio garden where you can have breakfast during the summer months in the shade of a large apricot tree. Guests can use the lounge/ breakfast room and can store small amounts of food in the fridge. There is a kettle and microwave in the kitchen for preparing tea and coffee and snacks but there are no cooking facilites for guests. The patio garden is available all day. Here you can have breakfast and relax, read or smoke. There is also space for drying beach towels etc. Although the rooms are not en-suite, we do not ask you to share a bathroom with anyone who is not in your party. You will be welcomed by Angela or Nando on your arrival and they will show you to your room. They speak Italian, English, some French and the local dialect which is similar to Catalan. Breakfast is continental and you can choose to have tea, coffee, fruit juice, fresh croissants, toast, cereal and yogurt. There is a small supplement for cold meats and cheese. If you have any special dietary requirements (gluten free, dairy free etc.) please let us know in advance. We have a travel cot and high chair for infants. Hibiscus is within walking distance of all the local attractions. It is not necessary to hire a car. There is no reserved parking but it is free to park on the streets near the building. Bicycles can be stored in the front garden. Beach towels are available on request. Smoking is not allowed inside the B&B. You can smoke in the patio areas at the front and back of the property. No pets allowed. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily from 10am to 12am.
