Buon Natale,

In questo periodo magico, vi auguriamo un Natale pieno di pace, amore e aconchego, proprio come la nostra casa di campagna e la nostra collina. Nel video, un po' della decorazione natalizia che abbiamo realizzato quest'anno. Alcuni oggetti sono stati fatti con tanto amore da noi stessi.

From the plateau, looking southwest, one can admire the peaks of the following hills (in order from right to left): Monte Cero, with its antennas; and finally Monte Castello. These last two hills are connected by a small depression, from which rises the slender bell tower of Calaone, clearly visible from this angle. When the landscape is contemplated, one can see olive trees, vineyards, woods, fields, roads and houses. Certainly this view is a distinctive feature of this house.

Dal pianoro, verso sud‑ovest si ammirano i cimi delle seguenti colline (in sequenza da destra a sinistra): il Monte Cero, con le antenne; e, infine, il Monte Castello. Questi ultimi due monti sono collegati tra loro da una piccola depressione, nella quale si erge lo snello campanile di Calaone, ben visibile da questo angolo. Quando si contempla il paesaggio si possono vedere olivi, vigneti, boschi, coltivazioni, strade e case. Di certo questa vista è un punto distintivo di questa casa.

We’d like to introduce the dogs from the farm. We have three Maremma Sheepdogs:
- Lana, the oldest who looks like a little sheep;
- Bruno, the playful one who loves to give a paw;
- Gessy, who has yellow eyes and is the biggest of the three.
They roam freely, but if you’d prefer we can keep them inside during your stay—just let us know. Remember, they’re good dogs 🐶

The olive harvest in October 🌿
Every year in October, we harvest the olives here on our property.
If you’re our guest during this time of the year, you can join us and live this unique experience — picking olives on the beautiful hills of Veneto, Italy.

This year, it was so much fun to harvest with our guests! We all loved it — working as a team, learning something new, and sharing laughter and good vibes together.

Every October, the charming village of Arquà Petrarca celebrates the traditional Festa delle Giuggiole — now in its 45nd edition! This year, the festival takes place on the first and second Sundays of the month.

The giuggiola (jujube) is a small fruit that looks a bit like an apple or a date when ripe. Locals transform it into delicious products like brodo di giuggiole — a sweet liqueur — and tasty jams.

It’s a joyful village tradition that fills the medieval streets with local flavors, music, and the warmth of community life. 🍂✨
