Borgo I Vicelli is a quaint village of times past, consisting of three rural buildings: the barn and the farmhouse, the Mill and the nineteenth century Villa. Both overlook the borgo’s square and today with the mill offer comfortable apartments and spacious rooms for our guests. The nineteenth century manor and a part of the Old Mill are reserved for the borgo’s leisure activities and events. Situ
ated in the heart of the village is the typical stone courtyard where today, as in the past, various activities take place. In the summer, it becomes a splendid solarium around which are gathered an arcaded porch with an antique wood oven, the Wellness Center, and an exposition of the farm’s natural products such as its PGI olive oil. The Old Mill is now home to two halls: L’Olivaia where the olives were once spread out before pressing; and La Limonaia, a winter garden. The two ample arched openings on the panoramic terrace pleasantly create continuity and integration between the spaces inside and outside the hamlet. The nineteenth-century villa, a country manor, has kept its original charm and atmosphere of centuries past. It is surrounded by arcades and an English garden, the perfect location for the big open-air swimming pool adorned with elegant furnishings. Beyond the hedge there is a big barbecue that overlooking on the garden, rich of season products. The estate’s flourishing reserve of 17 hectares encompasses the village and offers our guests the occasion to take relaxing walks on our grounds along a path leading to a beautiful lake full of wild lilies. Borgo I Vicelli loves to take care the guests offering big breakfasts with typical Tuscan products and with fine own fruits produced in the farm.
